Nena Nguyen is an emerging multimedia artist from Edmonton, Alberta. Nena enjoys creating custom-designed vinyl toys and apparel that has attracted fans from diverse areas of the world. Now based in Vancouver, Nena is excited to share her art with a wider audience and learn from the local arts community.
Although a newcomer to the greater Vancouver arts scene, her art can be seen on her personal website at Kalypzo.ca and viewed on murals as she received the opportunity. Her works are on display at stores such as Room 322 and Foosh and has recently won an international competition with the watch company Nooka.
Nena’s works are largely influenced by street art and Japanese illustrations, as well as individuals like James Jean, Ben Watts and Shigenori Iwasaki.
Nena is thrilled to become a part of the Vancouver arts community and looks forward to making new friends.
